Georgian Fire is a delicious heirloom variety obtained from the Gatersleben Seed Bank in eastern Germany. It is a large and beautiful garlic with rich robust flavor. This hard neck garlic is described by chefs as a truly spicy garlic that is full-bodied. It's a great garlic for salsa and salads. Georgian fire is a large and healthy garlic and appears to be relatively resistant to most of the diseases that can affect garlic. The bulbs are white on the outside with 4-8 brilliant red cloves within. In my photo I included a picture of a few heads of Georgian Fire so you can see what the garlic will look when mature.
